IMPORTANT
Please note that the 2027 LeadershipITE Program includes two, in-person meetings. The January program will be held in Washington, DC, and the final program and graduation will take place in conjunction with the Annual Meeting in Calgary in July. Before applying, please confirm that you are able to travel internationally and that your passport is current and will not expire within six months of either in-person program.

U.S. citizens traveling to Canada need a valid U.S. passport book, passport card, or NEXUS card. Specific document rules depend heavily on your mode of transport and citizenship status. 

Canadian citizens traveling from Canada to the United States need a valid passport, NEXUS card, or other compliant trusted traveler document. Air travelers must have a valid passport or NEXUS card, while land and water travelers age 16 and older need a WHTI-compliant document, and children age 15 and under may use a birth certificate.

Application Process

 

The application process for the 2027 LeadershipITE Class is due September 15, 2026 with funding due by November 16, 2026.

A completed application packet includes:

  • Completed application form submitted by the due date;
  • Responses to short essay questions;
  • Support letter from a non-employer;
  • Support letter from a current employer;
  • Additional support letter from ITE members or industry professionals are encouraged but not required.

Tuition

Tuition for the program is $3,500. This includes all virtual workshops, course materials, and registration to ITE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibit held during the program year. Tuition payments are due November 16, 2026.
