Steve Kuciemba Represents Transportation Community at USDOT Crash Responders Safety Week Ceremony

ITE Executive Director and CEO Steve Kuciemba spoke on behalf of ITE, AASHTO, APWA, and The Eastern Transportation Coalition at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Crash Responders Safety Week press event, joining national transportation leaders to underscore the vital importance of responder safety.

Steve emphasized the risks first responders face during roadway incidents and the vital role transportation professionals play in protecting them through strong design, operations, and coordinated Traffic Incident Management. He also reaffirmed ITE’s commitment to safety, grounded in our Safety Roadmap & Action Plan.
