ITE ROUNDABOUT STANDING COMMITTEE INNOVATIVE MULTILANE ROUNDABOUT OF MERIT AWARD

 

Purpose

The Innovative Multilane Roundabout of Merit Award seeks to advance  the  state  of  the  art by recognizing innovations in  roundabout design or construction that will inspire further advancements in modern roundabouts.

 

Eligibility

Projects, constructed or designed, that include one or more multilane roundabouts.

 

Award

The award will consist of a trophy or plaque presented at the ITE Annual Meeting and Exhibit. The selected projects will also be recognized in the ITE Journal.

Submission Deadline

The submission must be uploaded  by March 1, 2022, to ITE’s award platform at https://ite-awards.secure-platform.com/a/.

 

Submission Format

Adobe PDF file format: a single PDF file; maximum size 10 MB.

Do include a brief overview description. Otherwise, include only information that is relevant to the Judging Criteria:

  • Project Name
  • Project Location
  • Project Owner
  • Funding agency or other source(s) of funding
  • Person submitting the nomination: name & contact information
  • Innovator(s): Person(s) who contributed the innovative idea(s)
  • A narrative that clearly and directly addresses each of the Judging Criteria.
  • Photographs
  • Links to videos or websites that relate to the Judging Criteria might be helpful to include.
  • Verify that any links in your submitted PDF document do work correctly.

Other information relevant to the Judging Criteria might be helpful, such as:

  • Statement of problem/existing conditions
  • Statement of any other solution(S)
  • Interesting variances from standards or typical practice, if relevant to the Judging Criteria
  • Analysis and design tools utilized, if relevant to the Judging Criteria
  • Performance measures, if any
  • Public surveys, if relevant to the Judging Criteria
  • Media materials, if relevant to the Judging Criteria
  • Travel time, if relevant to the Judging Criteria
  • Queueing, if relevant to the Judging Criteria
  • Vulnerable users accommodations if relevant to the Judging Criteria
  • Traffic analysis/modeling/simulations, if relevant to the Judging Criteria
