Navigating Ethical Challenges in Engineering

Webinar Description:

During this webinar, participants will discuss the definition of ethics and explore the ITE Canons of Ethics for Members as well as the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) Professional Code of Ethics for Engineers. Participants will apply these codes of ethics to case studies published by the NSPE Board of Ethical Review (BER). This class will equip participants to be confident in handling ethical situations that may arise in their professional careers.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify and understand ethical challenges commonly faced by engineers.

  • Evaluate ethical situations using a structured approach.

  • Apply the ITE Canons of Ethics for Members and the NSPE Professional Code of Ethics to make informed, professional decisions.
