The ITE Private Sector Council will be putting on a series of webinars in 2026 that will explore how the industry is navigating the rapidly evolving AI landscape, with a focus on policy, business impacts, application, risk management, and workforce development. The program is intended to give industry professionals practical insight into how consulting firms, vendors and other organizations are responding to AI-related opportunities and challenges.

This first webinar will introduce key AI fundamentals and provide a foundation for understanding how AI is being used across the industry. The webinar will share common AI terminology and types of application, perspectives on use, and considerations for developing internal company or agency policies and guidance. Attendees will gain a better understanding of how organizations can begin shaping thoughtful, responsible approaches to AI.

  • Understand considerations when developing company or agency policies around AI.
  • Recognize various ways AI is being used within the transportation Industry.
  • Recognize fundamental terminology related to AI.
