ITE student chapters provide students with valuable opportunities to build professional skills, develop industry connections, and engage more deeply with the transportation profession. This webinar brings together three perspectives essential to a successful chapter: a student, a faculty advisor, and an industry liaison.

Each panelist will discuss their involvement with an ITE student chapter, highlighting successful initiatives, effective practices, lessons learned, and areas where chapters may have room to improve. The webinar aims to provide student chapter leaders, members, and advisors with actionable ideas they can adapt and apply to support the continued growth, engagement, and long-term success of their own chapters.

Learning Objectives:

• Recognize the key roles students, faculty advisors, and industry liaisons play in supporting a successful ITE student chapter.
• Describe best practices for increasing member engagement, strengthening chapter leadership, and delivering valuable programs and activities.
• Identify strategies for building productive relationships with faculty, industry professionals, and the broader ITE community.
• Apply lessons learned from successful chapter initiatives to improve their own chapter’s operations, programming, and long-term growth.
• Evaluate potential areas for improvement within their student chapter and identify practical steps to address them.
