With ongoing resilience challenges for transportation systems, Dr. Wong will present current research at the University of Alberta on wildfire evacuations, resilience hubs, community design in disaster-prone places, and multimodal use in hazards. Dr. Wong will then link this research to current and future practice in transportation engineering and planning, offering new pathways to improve infrastructure, preparedness, response, and recovery in disasters.
