This webinar will focus on the benefits and best practices of implementing LPIs to improve pedestrian safety and visibility at signalized intersections. The webinar will share jurisdiction examples and strategies for successfully implementing LPIs. Participants will gain practical insights into when and how to incorporate LPIs into traffic signal operations.

  • Purpose and safety benefits of LPI
  • Criteria and conditions for implementing LPI
  • Identify LPI phases within signal timing diagrams
