ITE Brand Evolution is a transformational initiative to align our identity across all levels of the organization. This effort supports the 2024–2026 Strategic Plan and reflects valuable input from ITE members and leaders.
Brand alignment supports clarity, cohesion, and consistency—reinforcing ITE’s role as a collaborative industry leader. By unifying our brand across Districts, Sections, Chapters, Councils, and Committees, we enhance recognition, better reflect our diverse and multidisciplinary membership, and honor our long history and local character.
Uplift Engagement Communications (Uplift Co.) was retained to bring a best-practice approach to this effort. They are connecting with individuals across the organization to understand the implications and the needs of Districts, Sections, Chapters, Councils, and Committees. This work has shaped the development of the May 2025 Brand Guidelines and Implementation Plan, which will guide all entities through the transition process.
Why We Evolved Our Brand
Over time, inconsistent use of names, logos, and messaging created challenges for recognition and engagement across our community. The Brand Evolution initiative addresses these issues by establishing a unified identity that reinforces our values, strengthens communication, and enhances our credibility.
This is not about changing ITE’s legacy—it’s about reinforcing it. A clear, cohesive, and consistent brand will strengthen ITE’s influence, improve outreach, and provide greater value to members worldwide.
Benefits of the Brand Evolution include:
- Creating a recognizable and professional brand that members and stakeholders immediately identify and trust.
- Strengthening communication and engagement across all levels of the organization.
- Supporting membership growth by reinforcing ITE’s leadership in transportation.
- Streamlining branding efforts for local entities through clear, flexible guidelines and support.
