ITE Council, committee, and group meetings are open to TRB meeting participants and ITE members. You are welcome to join the meeting(s). The meetings will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (where the TRB Annual Meeting is taking place).
The primary focus for the Traffic Engineering Council meeting is planning the 2026 Action Plan elements for the council and to identify interested people to lead the development of various products and webinars. There will be a specific focus on creating conceptual outlines for the remaining products within the council’s lead responsibility from the ITE Safety Action Plan and Roadmap. There will be discussion on different challenges and opportunities across the traffic engineering discipline as well as consideration of various emerging issues and core practice fundamentals.
