The Impact of Vision Zero on Land Use Decisions

Webinar Description:

This webinar will discuss how the connection between land use decisions and the implementation of Vision Zero policies and practices. This session will present from the owners perspective on how to implement the goals and objectives of vision zero through the use of policies surrounding land use and transportation access. Through the session, we will present how the intent, and implementation of Vision Zero impacts not just transportation practices, but extends into the zoning and land use decisions to encourage transportation behaviors.

Attendees of this webinar will be able to:

  • Recognize the impacts of land use decisions on transportation system
  • Evaluate techniques to improve safety through the land use process
  • Determine how to implement land use practices which promote safer transportation
