SS4A Grant Funding Process and Important Steps

When: Thursday, June 20, 2024 | 2:00 - 3:00 PM ET

This webinar is led by the ITE Traffic Engineering Council and Safety Council.

Webinar Description:

Whether you've recently just been awarded a SS4A (Safe Streets and Roads for All) planning grant, interested in applying for an SS4A planning grant, or simply curious about what a SS4A plan is, this webinar is for you.

Join Lucas County (Ohio) Engineer Mike Pniewski and Toole Design Principal Planner Catherine Girves as we walk through all the basics: a conversation about setting up the project, a detailed walk through the eight components of the Safe Streets and Roads for All Action Plan, and even some thoughts about how to write a plan that positions communities for competitive grants for implementation funding.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the process following the award of an SS4A grant.
  • Recognize which SS4A grant your community is eligible for.
  • Describe and understand the kinds of projects SS4A grants can fund.
