The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) recently entered into a cooperative agreement with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) aimed at improving the integration of transit priority treatments on urban street networks. To address this issue, ITE in a partnership with the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), conducted two peer-exchange-based workshops. The following information includes links to the workshop summaries, an ITE Journal article and a white paper highlighting the issues discussed, input received and an action plan for future work in this area.
