Request for Pre-Qualification
for the Multi-Facility Design, Implementation, and Maintenance of a Replacement Toll Collection and Audit System, with Capability for Future All-Electronic Tolling, at Port Authority Crossings
The Port Authority of NY & NJ wishes to pre-qualify firms to design, implement and maintain a Replacement Toll Collection and Audit System, with the capability for future All-Electronic Tolling, on approximately 72 lanes at the six Port Authority Crossings. The new toll collection system will equip all of the lanes so that they can function with the same collection modes the Port Authority has today – cash and E-ZPass – but will also provide for the ability to move to All-Electronic Tolling by ensuring that during initial deployment, any additional components and software needed for All-Electronic Tolling will also be configured, installed, and operationally tested.

Prequalification submissions will be accepted by 2:00 pm on or before April 15, 2010 at the address indicated. Documents can be requested via e-mail at askforbids@panynj.gov or you can fax your request to 212-435-3959. Please reference RFPQ Number 20544.

Note: Only firms that have responded to this RFPQ and as a result have been deemed pre-qualified via written approval from the Port Authority will be asked to respond to a future Request for Proposal for this specific Project.
