This study incorporated the level of service (LOS) as a covariate in several traffic safety models for signalized intersections. A meticulous data preparation process was performed in order to relate the LOS with the safety conditions characterizing these types of facilities.

Illinois was the first state in the United States to implement automated speed-radar photo enforcement (SPE) in work zones. This paper presents a brief overview of the performance evaluation of SPE in Illinois based on three data sets.
