Paul co-founded Eng-Wong, Taub & Associates, a traffic and transportation engineering firm, in 1988, serving as President as it has grown to a 50-person company celebrating its twenty-year anniversary. Among a wide range of traffic, ITS, parking, transit and pedestrian studies, he holds overall responsibilities for issues pertaining to technical oversight, corporate finance and human resources, and represents the company at industry conferences and events, public hearings and community presentations. Paul has strived to cultivate an environment of enthusiasm and collaboration at Eng-Wong, Taub, promoting the highest standards of professional ethics, workforce development, education and community participation that echo those values attained in a lifetime of ITE service. Prior to establishing the firm, he worked at The RBA Group and Edwards & Kelcey.

Paul earned both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He is a published author and experienced presenter on a wide range of transportation issues, including the following representative sample:

  • Panelist for the “Strategies for Improving Public Agency and Consultant Relationships” session at the 2007 ITE Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA.
  • Panelist for the “Transportation NJ - Where Does the Road Go” event hosted by the Society for Marketing Professional Services in April 2007 in Newark, NJ.
  • Presider of the “Smart Planning for Special Events” session at the 2005 ITE Annual Meeting in Melbourne, Australia.
  • Presenter of a technical paper titled “Conducting the Study and Analyzing the Data in Preparing a Traffic Impact Analysis” at the 2002 ITE Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, PA.
  • Member of the TRB Special Report 209: Highway Capacity and Quality of Service Subcommittee in 1994 for the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
