GENERAL INFORMATION

Registration 
All participants are urged to register at special, reduced fees offered on the advance registration form. A check made payable to ITE or credit card information (American Express, MasterCard, or Visa—ITE does not accept the Discover card) must be included with your registration form.

Please note that the early-bird deadline has been extended through August 1st. Thank you for you patience and cooperation.

Registration Categories:

Western District*: registration includes admission to the Technical Sessions, a ticket to the Networking Reception, access to the Transportation Products and Services Exhibit, access to the technical sessions, a copy of the Technical Papers on CD-ROM, a ticket to the Attendee Reception, access to the Traffic Bowl and the option of attending the two Western District luncheons on Monday and Tuesday.

Full, Member under 30 years old, Full time student and Honorary Member**: registration includes admission to the Technical Sessions, a ticket to the Networking Reception, access to the Transportation Products and Services Exhibit, access to the technical sessions, a copy of the Technical Papers on CD-ROM, a ticket to the Attendee Reception and the option of choosing lunch in the exhibit hall on Monday and/or Tuesday.

No Frills and Retired Life Member***: registration includes admission to the Technical Sessions, the Transportation Products and Services Exhibit and one copy of the Compendium of Technical Papers on CD-ROM.

One-Day***: registration includes admission to the Technical Sessions, the Transportation Products and Services Exhibit on the specified day and a copy of the Compendium of Technical Papers on CD-ROM.

Spouse/Guest: Name badge only. Tickets for tours and social functions must be purchased separately.

*When a confirmation packet is sent there will be a form where you should indicate what lunches you will be attending. If you sign up for the Full Western District Registration, you are entitled to attend the Western District lunches on Monday and/or Tuesday or you may choose to attend the Western District luncheon one day and have lunch in the exhibit hall the other day. You may also choose not to attend any of the luncheons/lunches. Please note: the price of the Western District luncheons is included in the Full Western District registration fee.

**If you choose to register for the Full Registration in the confirmation packet you will be asked to indicate whether you will be attending lunch in the exhibit hall on Monday and/or Tuesday or if you will not be attending either lunch. If you would like to attend lunch in the exhibit hall one day and attend the Western District luncheon the other day, you will need to purchase a ticket for the Western luncheon on the day of your choice. Please note: the price of the exhibit hall lunches is included in the Full Registration fee.

***If you choose to register as No Frills or One-Day, tickets are not included in these registration fees. You may purchase separate tickets for the Western District luncheons, lunch in the exhibit hall and/or tickets to the Networking Reception and Attendee Reception.

Positions Available Booklets
ITE is assisting members searching for employment by providing positions available booklets in the registration desk area. ITE Resource Center
The ITE Resource Center, open during exhibit hours will be located in the exhibit hall. Stop by to purchase several new publications at a discount and catch up on new ITE initiatives. You may also bring your membership- and dues-related questions, address changes, or questions about certification, Web seminars or any other ITE-related inquiries.

Local Arrangement Committees
2008 Annual Meeting and Exhibit Local Arrangements Committee

Visit the local arrangements committee (LAC) booth to learn more about the surrounding area and things to do while visiting.

2009 Annual Meeting and Exhibit Local Arrangements Committee
Plans are under way for the 2009 Annual Meeting and Exhibit. Stop by the 2009 LAC booth for more information on San Antonio, TX, USA.

Software Showcase
Presenting companies will demonstrate the benefits of their latest and greatest software. This session offers an opportunity to preview, offer comment and discuss various software packages with representatives from the companies and your colleagues.

Product Showcase
Companies will present their most recent transportation products in this session. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on several new industry products.

Audiovisual
Each presenter is responsible for bringing his/her own laptop computer if one is needed for the presentation. ITE does not provide laptop computers.

Each technical session has one LCD projector (to connect to a speaker’s personal laptop) and screen. ITE does not provide 35mm slide or overhead transparency projectors.

Any additional audiovisual equipment will be at the expense of the requestor. To inquire about additional equipment, call ITE at +1 202-289- 0222 ext. 133. A credit card number will be required to order additional equipment.

Ancillary Meetings
Meeting room locations for ITE council and committee meetings will be posted as they become available.

Attire
Business-casual attire is appropriate for all sessions and meetings.

Cancellation Policy 
If written notice of cancellation is received at ITE headquarters on or before July 25, 2008, full refunds will be given. Cancellations received between July 25 and August 8 will be subject to a 50 percent cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after August 8, 2008.

Ticket Refund Policy
Tickets for individual events are sold on a space-available basis, and may be purchased online or at the registration desk until noon on the day before the event. No refunds will be issued for unused tickets, whether purchased as part of a registration package or separately.

Compendium of Technical Papers on CD-ROM
A copy of the technical papers compendium on CD-ROM is included in the registration fee where indicated. Additional copies may be purchased using the registration form included in this brochure or on site at the ITE registration desk. The cost per disk is $60 for members and $80 for nonmembers. Publication No. CD-058.
