Are you a professional or student working in transportation engineering and design, planning, research or policymaking? This international meeting is for you!

ITE is calling our multidisciplinary community of transportation professionals—engineers, planners, academicians, policy leaders and advocates—to come together to LEARN new applications and analyses; COMMUNICATE best practices; COLLABORATE on technical projects; and NETWORK to create new business and professional opportunities.

Participation from public agency management and decision-makers, technical leads, and professionals involved in policy development, transit, management and operations and context sensitive solutions are strongly encouraged.

The meeting offers four key technical tracks— engineering and design, safety, planning and transportation operations. Meeting content will be shared via dynamic:

  • technical and design workshops
  • conversation circles
  • technical tours
  • paper presentations

General Information

Positions Available and Positions Wanted Booklets
ITE is assisting members searching for employment by providing booklets of positions available. The booklets are available at the registration desk and are solely for open position postings. The cost for this service is $100 per 8.5 in. x 11 in. page. For more information, please contact Christina Garneski, Marketing and Membership Services Senior Director, at cgarneski@ite.org.

Passport/Visa Information
Traveling to Canada will require a passport or visa depending on the country from which you are traveling. Please check with the Canadian Embassy or equivalent agency in your country to determine what travel documents you will need. Audiovisual
Each technical session has one LCD projector (to connect to a speaker’s personal laptop) and one screen. ITE does not provide 35-mm slide or overhead transparency projectors. Any additional audiovisual equipment is at a cost to the user. To arrange for special equipment, please contact Carol A. Golf Shirts
ITE 2010 Annual Meeting and Exhibit golf shirts are available for sale. These breathable 100% polyester shirts have the Vancouver logo embroidered on the front and Vancouver and 2010 on each of the sleeves. Price is $40 and sizing ranges from a men’s small to 4XL.

Attire
Business-casual attire is appropriate for all sessions and meetings.

Restrictions
Videotaping or audio recording of sessions or technical exhibits as well as the unauthorized sale of ITE-copyrighted material is prohibited.
